how much waxoyl is needed to do the under side of a lwb t2 . I have just brought the pump and the extension pipe and 2.5l of waxoyl . but I don't want to start if I have got enough

yeah :( great

I brought a 5 litre one and still have half left which is a good job as when I was under my truck last night I've found some areas that look prone to the old tin worm that I'm going to give a blast over when the weather is better and all the mechanical work underneath is done

I prefer to warm the waxoyl up in it's own tin and then pour it into one of these with the filter removed

The Waxoyl pumps you can get are terrible!!!!!!

Waxoil isn't the best - it hardens, cracks and comes off.

Mix waste oil and waxoil 50/50 it really does last much longer as it doesn't dry up and it gets in every where - waxoil tends to sit ontop of gaps rather than go in.

Get an old paint spray gun and decent compressor, put the mixture in and heat it up a bit using a gentle blow lamp.

You need power spray to apply rust proofing as it blasts off any residual muck as well as gets right in!

sounds like a good idea mate. anyone else do this?

Use the old heat trick people have been singing about. Keep the can of waxoyl in a bucket of boiling water :thumb2

I just say trial and error, whats the worst that could happen :nenau

Your truck rots into a giant ball of dust and fails MOT?
