I have a 52 plate t2 And got a couple of water leaks, one in front foot passenger foot well and one in the boot looks like it comes in from the left hand window.

could some one enlighten me and know wot i can do to stop the leak??

front, try sun roof drains.

sure its the window, not ther back door seal.

do a search for both, also down load section for sun roof drains..

The passenger footwell one could be from an opening in the bulkhead that you access by removing the outside scuttle panel (after removing the wipers) and seal.

Hopefully its not the aircon.

As Zippy says the rear one more likely to be the rear door seal, lots of experiences related on here, from using silicone wipe, to stiffening the seal with a bit of dowel.

But if it does it more when the vehicle is parked nose down, heres what I'd do:

Open the rear door and remove the bit of plastic trim that goes along the floor to cover the joint between carpet and back of the car. Clean it all out and, because it isn't watertight, run a thick bead of silicon all the way along (that will seal everything when the trim is screwed back on top, so be generous), paying special attention to the ends, because I've seen water that would otherwise drain around the sides of the door and out the bottom, find itself past either end in the right conditions.

if its in the rear left corner area of the boot as you look at the boot door it's likely the rear door deal is letting in water.

I've been trying to tackle mine. I've put some Vaseline on it and I can tell where it's not shutting tight enough. So when I get time and a dry day I will be putting a bit of tigerseal there, let it dry then close the door.

Try that trim panel though Fez....it was quite evident on mine that water was finding its way underneath when I looked and a big fat worm of silicone sealant has sorted it.:thumbs

Also for NSF footwell. Open the passenger door and look below the hinge at the bottom. You'll see it's crammed full of crud from the front wing. Hose it all out and the same for drivers side too.

Will be but it shouldn't get to it in the first place, we will see how it goes.

It can get to it but there doesn't seem to be much stopping it getting under it....the water should go round the seal and fall out the back of the door at that point, but if you're parked on a slope, or torsion bars have drooped, theres enough gravity to let it come underneath the floor strip.....
