I'm guessing this would be a bad thing :nenau
First time I've had a intercooler scoop on the bonnet . What would be the result if you got water through this ? Would it be an idea to cover the the bonnet with a tarp when wading ?

Will o straight throug an over the engine thats all - nothing to worry about really as long as it was reasonably clean - muddy water might block the intercooler fins but other than that not a problem.

Cheers , seriously thinking about trimming a piece of tarp and rolling it up by the bullbar before doing any wading . I've seen this done in Aussie programmes and I've killed previous cars radiators by clogging them with mud . Figure as long as I'm moving forward most of the sludge should be deflected away from the rad and the intercooler :thumb2

from my last trip out i think most water comes up, not through the front grill, and if its going own your intercooler YOUR TO DEEP!!! as air intake is just behind the n/s lights
