Yes; you've guessed it :thumbs Usual problem of blocked sunroof drains.
Did all the "dynorodding" and stuffed enough stiffish wire down each side to reach solid stop. Wire wouldn't appear visibly anywhere:nenau Had mudflaps off and did all the usual prodding and flushing down under.
Poured copious amounts of water via funnel into drains and got both working OK :clap Realised water was draining from little vents in sills.
Parked car nose down on slope and water ran out from front of sills. Turned car around (arse down) and water ran out of centre and rear vents too.
I concluded that the sunroof drains run into the sills.:naughty(Ijust hope they are waxed inside by makers !)
If my conclusion is correct I reckon it's a lousy drainage idea and I shall be regularly clearing sill vents and drowning the interiors with WD40.
Can anyone say if drains should come out elswhere ?

they should pop out by the mudflaps at the front

Open your door and look right down at the bottom, you should see a recess thats the bottom of the sill moulding which might be full of crud - it should be 2-3 inches deep and theres a drain hole in the bottom which you can see from underneath. Garden hose and a bit of prodding with something thin but flexible like a tie wrap should clear it all out. Do both sides!:augie

Mind you, I had water coming in there and it wasn't the drains - the only thing that fixed it was a thin smear of silicon all round the outside edge of the sunroof glass panel itself where it meets the rubber, as I suspect the rubber had started to harden and lift a bit. You can't see the damn thing so don't be too precious about it.

Haven't had a problem with it since.:)

ah, Ive trued that, still no good. Did you try to put it between glass and rubber or just on the top of the sunroof and rubber?

Zippy

Latter, so that any water puddling on the glass would sit on top of a film of silicon rather than getting to the rubber...... Are your drainholes definitely clear as well then?

Water in overhead switches

Many thanks for the hints and tips everyone.
Lacrouped----I found the sill cavities you described. Blasted out with water jet and poked with wire. Lots of crud in there despite my previous jetting.:clap
Also had a look at the sunroof seal. Just as you said ; water puddled there. Some traces of pevious application of small blob of silicon sealer so I reckon it's not a new problem. :augie
I will get up there and sort that out when the weather improves and try to do a better job of it.

Thanks again for the help. Where would I be without the Club :thumbs

Welcome! Funnily enough it was the first thing I ever learned when I joined this site for the first time several years ago - so what goes around comes around LOL.

Re the sunroof rubber, I'd let it dry out really well, clean the edge where it meets the glass as best you can and then just put a think smear of silicon all round, i.e. lay a bead down and smooth it with a wet finger - you can't see it unless you're on the roof so its not unsightly.
