To disconnect the water feed to the device upon working on it, or you, dad, dog and kitchen will be drenched, bloody stop valve was in the bathroom so the water supply was basically on full power fir about 10 seconds:doh needles to say the kitchen was flooded rather badly:augie

Nope, its on the pipe that enters the house in the bathroom:doh

Just the main water shutoff

Now you know where to shut the water off why not fit a valve near to washing machine so you dont have to turn the water off to the whole house there only a couple of quid

Think ill do that, spoken to dad and he thinks its a good idea, will get a valve today
