washers not working

Well tried switch from the car and fine everything works, success!

Tried Terrano switch in car everything works, bizarre, swapped switches back over now everything works on the Terrano.

More testing required but I guess there is a break in the switch or a break in the multi plug that goes in to it.

found a bad earth it was making and breaking 1 minute it would work and the next it wasnt :nenau and because it was arking it would then blow a fuse !!!!!!!!!!
thats not before i bought a new stalk:doh i fitted it and it made no diffrence........so now left with new stalk ( FOR SALE ):augie

so check the wiring first......and dont get caught out like me.

Where was this bad earth? I've got to look at a Terrano on Friday that has exactly the same symptoms - no front washer, no rear washer, no rear wiper.
