Hi, my washers stopped working the day before my MOT so I now have 10 days to fix them!

There is no sound from the motor when the column switch is pulled, the wipers still do their few cycles so I presume the switch is OK.

Looking in the manual the washer motor runs on the same fuse as the wipers, ok.

So I'm guessing it is the pump. Does anyone have any experience of changing these? A quick look suggests it is buried beneath the main bit of the reservoir between the wings. Do you need to remove the inner arch liners etc. to get to this?

Any advice greatly appreciated, I have a deadline for the re-test!

cheers,

Scott

Thanks, I've checked the manual and can't find any reference to how the washer bottle/motor fits in, just the electrical schematics.

You're right, the pumps seem plentiful and cheap enough, just want to know how to get to it!

will have a look on here lunch time bud.

maybe you can go have a look.... but under the wheel arch rubbers sounds a good start..

unless some one else know better of cause..

Hi bud ive got the same prob and it looks like it does need the wing guard off to get to the bottle and pumps.I was thinking of fitting a series 1 non turbo bottle as this is on the ns inner wing.

just buy a universal pump and put it line, you could use the same wiring if your lucky :thumbs:lol:thumbs

Good idea on the universal pump, didn't know about those BUT would probably have to get to the pump connector to find the right wire!
