Last time I used them they got my order wrong but they sent out the right part at no cost to me and told me to keep both parts. So can't knock their customer service on that occasion but I wont use them unless I'm stuck as the parts are very cheap and poorly made!! You can get just as good if not better prices from local motor factors :thumb2

To be honest I tend to use my local factors, the old saying use them or lose them come to mind, just a little issue over this W/E popped into Screwfix on Saturday for a small genny for the tin tent to be used this coming W/E, got it home fueled and oiled it and started it, lovely and quiet specially when it stopped after about 1 min, each pull of the cord and it started but only for 1 sec, noticed overload light lit up, but not even plugged anything in yet, so popped it back but it was last one in stock but get one for Monday, OK so picked it up today and ace, nice and quiet and it even powers the Carver electric heater no problem, the point is I was tempted by an online offer but decided no, now if I had had the same problem with the online jobby I would have been lucky to get a replacement in time for our weekend getaway starting this Friday, as it is now I have a tried and tested set up, can you imagine my Mrs with no telly and more important me with no lappy, Rick

I mentioned a couple of years ago, about the idler arm not fitting without a little modifications. And what i thought to be low quality track rod ends. But the steering relay arm was ok though.

at the end of the day the parts are cheap so you get what you pay for.

That being said, the exact same parts are sold over here in Belgium for plenty more - I'm happy I can order at Milners or other UK shops. Local motor factors only order directly from Nissan...

TBH I think the quality of their products has dropped & they aren't the cheapest around my local factors can often beat them on price for most things got a centre exhaust cheaper than the price on Milners site which is plus vat

I've bought lots off them in the past but now that I'm in northern Ireland the postage is £15 or there abouts even for a small part. I can't justify that against local where it ends up usually cheaper.
I have had a few ball joints delivered without nipples tho

I have had a few ball joints delivered without nipples tho

Snap!!!!! Then when I've contested it over the phone and told them that the picture shows nipples and the description also states that the product has grease nipples they then tell me it depends on what stock they get in.

Sorry, No, update the site end of

That's my point, I didn't even notice cos I didn't fit them for months!

I bought some upper ball joints recently and had the same issue.
Still don't last any longer on mine with or without the nipples :lol

To be honest I can't be bothered to jump through all the hoops, I just won't ever use them again.

Has anyone bought a water pump from Milners lately. Just wondering what the quality is like. They're loads cheaper than my local factors.

As I have said before I will only use my local factors I might pay a bit more but if I have a problem they are on my door step, and do the sorting, old adage, use them or loose them, Rick

My decision has been made about purchasing cheap parts. The exhaust I bought for the project truck has only really been on the road as such since 30th October. Today I've found the rear hanger has snapped.

Ho hum off to motor factors tomorrow
