There is a noise when I press the pedal in now, went under while Christine pressed it & it's the arm..Hi mate, is your release bearing making a rumbling noise since you removed that pipe like mine is ??????

John as Solarman said, it's coming though the arm to the clutch, so i put it down to above as well.as said on another thread, if your damper pipe had air in it then now it is not there the slave travel will be more than before, so you will be treading on new ground, so to speak, Rick
