old - rubber flexes off the internal rod. cover is worn away at the top third, prone to getting mouldy in the damp

OK so need to know if your air bag sensor is in the wheel or under the centre console, when looking under the console lift it up carefully from the rear as it is easy to strain the window switch wires and cause problems, if your AB module is under here you will see a box with yellow wires if not it will be in the wheel, I only know of these two places but there may be more, Rick
