1999 2.8 Patrol GR SE Touring I would like info on oils, engine, diffs etc and does it have an LSD. Handbook is a bit vague, quotes with and without LSD

Cheers

Yes hiclones make a difference on their own, better lower down grunt and alot less smoke.

In my opinion these engines should be fitted with a powerbox before they leave the factory. You really know you've got +30bhp and the engine feels more like a modern engine and you use less fuel if you don't have a lead boot on your right foot. Best bit is you don't need to cut wires fit straight into existing plugs

K&N is fitted in the standard filterbox.

My Terrano is for sale and if it goes into Autotrader or fleabay the hiclones and PSI powerbox will be getting sold seperatly.

Good site, but what about the diffs?

use the same as gearbox/s mate, 75/90.
front and rear diff same if you have the factory difflock?
dont put LSD oil in a locker mate

Cheers for that. Was getting confused as handbook quoted with and without LSD Diff

yeah thats cos in some parts of world, mainly oz, you can buy
a "poverty" pack patrol that only has a LSD not a locker. they also
have things like manual windows, no airbags, manual windows, etc...
and no wheel arch flares!
