Hi,

Yesterday, whilst parked in Cheltenham, of all places, my drivers side indicator went missing!

First I knew was the high speed flashing of the indicator light on the dashboard.

Anyway putting all comments regarding it unauthorised removal aside for the timebeing, does anybody have a drivers side one like the one in the images below?

Nissan 1st have quoted £42.00 delivered for one.

Thanks

Alan

How do you get it out without the bonnet up? David

To be honest I havent lifted the bonnet to have a look at how it's fitted, but I have ordered one now.

Maybe it wasn't nicked then, but it fell out...!

They look the same as volvo indicaters, held in by a tension spring hooked to the metalwork behind it, if so the spring possibly broke (this happened on my volvo , 130 QUID FROM DEALER OR 30 QUID OF EBAY

Sounds like you've solved the mystery.

Thanks

Alan

Try your local Nissan dealer. I replaced one in January and it was £32.26 inc VAT and came with a new bulb fitted !

Theron,

Thanks for the heads up. As it happens the one from Nissan 1st turned up yesterday, but it had gotten the Royal Mail treatment, so was unusable. I have sent it back for a refund, however I called my local Nissan dealer (Wessex Nissan in Bristol) who got me one overnight, for the unbelivable price of £32.26.

The cautionary tale is to always try the main dealer for costs before going to a breakers!

For the timebeing I am very pleased with my bodge, which uses a motorbike indicator :)

Regards

Alan

Looks like the connector let go, as there are two wires hanging out.

I'll have to Borge that as well.

Alan
