Why I delete

its the last thing I want to do, But bat gave me the global (with in the site) ability
because someone's got to do it.

I removed Adz and Cols posts that were way off topic and ruining some else's thread
and everyone else that had added to the subject in the debate.

It was primarily to protect the Club's image, just as the previous time when I removed
off-piste pictures in the Laning trip.

I considered both Adz and Col my mates, fellow musketeers as mods, then
and still do. Its no fun watching relationships sour. I pity any one that does
think it fun or entertainment. My pm log shows mediation to both parties where
they were willing to take it and constant reminders of the effect it was having
on the Club and fellow members.

To be consistent I've also just removed Adz thread which had become personally
ugly to both parties and still not representing the Club as now members.

Ive also made a clear statement in Willow's thread on where this Club should be
going, like how it was couple of months ago and know it will.

Banter = OK, Bitterness = removal.

I suggest anyone that wants to be in this Club for a fight or a grievance find
another Club or keep such feeling inside as they arent welcome here.

for what it's worth - I think if inappropriate comments - and even threads - had been removed earlier then we would now still have two serving moderators. Things got out of hand as a result of a lack of intervention not because of it.

So a big :thumb2 to TTT2 for getting us back on track

i dont yet know the protacol for getting paul/lynn voted in as mods let alone remove them i know the police just whitewash there incompetence and move officer to cushier dutys so incomptent mods could be put to use in say proffesional standards dept!

there is nothing wrong with the system we have in place in the forum at the moment , members should behave with respect for others and abide by the rules , if not , then systems are in place to rectify the situation . if anyone does not abide by the the rules ... then dont complain about the consequences ... simples

im guessing its bat 21's decision as to how to deal with the situation , either through mods , or by direct action by himself , put quite simply ..... break the rules of forum behaviour , either by a member or a mod .... expect the consequences

plqank i think your delibretly trying to cause trouble with me,maybe i should axe proof my front door??? he asked a question i tried to answer it, the fact is i do not know how to set on a mod or strip him/her of there duties and ofered up a solution ie: to many "proven" complaints ( to stop malicious pretend complaints) and there obviously not suitable for a moderators post,seems a fair and simple way of doing it,how would you do it?

Jace, I have nothing against you personally and the Judean comment wasn't sarcasm. Its a comment on revolutionaries demonstrated by comedy and not at all rude or belittling.

It effectively points out that whilst freedom from oppression is a cool idea, you need more than random statements. You need clearly defined protocols rules laws and guidance to underpin it. if you havent you cannot achieve efficient change.

That is fully consolidated by the what do the Romans do for us dialogue.

ie it makes the Judean peoples front look daft because they haven't thought it out properly and cant conduct themselves that well, then when they think about it they're possibly actually better off under the system they have even if they're not wild about it.

Quite ironic that a comedy sketch parallels activity on here :naughty
