Viscous fan removal

How do I get the ruddy thing off please?
I've got my electric fans to fit on :sly

I've also learnt today that the fins on a radiator are very sharp:eek:
I now have a rather dashing criss cross pattern of little paper cuts all over:doh
I'll stick some pics up later;)

The coupling is non-removable.

Just unbolt the fan.

Right the fan is off but I need a bit more room for my er over sight in the viscous dept.
The manual suggests it comes off, so I'm off to give it a bit of a spannerin':sly

done a few pumps . never noticed that bit could come off buddy. you might need to remove the pump and cut the viscous bit off .
 
looking at ebay, for a new water pump thay dont have the fan bit on so must come off

You had better move to this end of the country then :lol, because my truck is in need of some serious grinding after the welding gets finished. Wouldnt have had clivvys problem today, as all the gunk would have ended up on the road .
