I think a standard Paj/shogun comes in at under a hundred horse power so even a standard T2 TDI has a lot more grunt that that, especially when you consider that a T2 is also lighter :thumb2

It could be wrong gear but usually it's power shortage on steep climbs. That's why the arabs do their monster Patrol rigs up sand dunes, showing off how much power they can muster.
