what do you mean??

that's the cross member that runs under the 4x4 transmission/gearbox. Passenger side mount is moving - the car is just idling there, im not using anything to move it! its just vibrating/moving, the other side doesn't move at all...

it is hard to tell in the video, I will do a better one, but the whole thing is moving on the mount as the car idles...

sounds like the stiff rubber mounts may not be stiff anymore ..... perished perhaps ? , but ignore me I know nuffin

yeah and my question is, if that is the case, how do I fix it?

OK did not realise the engine was running, my sound does not work, that is what it is supposed to do, the nearside mount is on a much shorter lever than the offside that is why it moves more, quite normal, Rick

Ok I can hear a metallic clicking type sound. Cars vibrating this morning. Lowered passenger window and I can hear it. Feel it throughout the car. Remains if clutch down but vehicle moving. Can only feel it above 20mph plus but doesn't deem to get worse at higher speeds. You can just hear it in this video

Cheers Rick. When in 4d, turning the steering wheel I get the classic CVJ noise, you think its related? I will check out the post you mention. Thank you so much for your help and advise so far.

Now we're getting somewhere!!! I think you may be getting warmer.

Did you check the UJ's on front and rear prop?

i did but not properly, it was freezing yesterday so I just did an in place inspection - obviously not very productive but visually the UJs both ends look fine...

So did mine, then I grabbed the prop and twisted it clockwise and then anti clockwise really quick and I could feel and see the play in the UJ's

Check the front and back whilst you are under there
