100 k to 120 k that is some rev range, can you please clarify, is it related to engine speed or road speed, Rick

could be the prop but give it a good look over for spot welds and no plate, cos it would have been balanced new but could have shed a balance plate, Rick

It is a 2006 model, so the front prop also features, as it too is permanently driven.
Look for any axial movement on the splined shaft.

Swop wheels. could be a buckle or a dodgy tyre.had similar with my navara new tyres spot on.

thanks for all your reply's guys..keep em coming ..tracking has been done..the prop has its bal.weight on..I willget it up on the ramp tomorrow to check the splines when i replaced the rear uj.it was shot..sadley I thought I had cracked it but no..the vibration is realy bad at 100to 120kph.after 120 it runs smooth when you drop back down it returns ..It doing my box in..paul

the tyres are meant to go in one direction ....should be a indicator telling you which way is the correct way to fit .....if youve had more than one wheel off you may have got them mixed up ?

tyres very often have a rotation marked on them, if they have been fitted incorrectly could cause a problem, while you are looking at the prop check that the yokes are in line, if the slider has been pulled apart and the yokes are missaligned it will cause problems as will diff and gearbox alignment this means the pinion of the diff MUST be parallel with the gearbox, UJs are not constant velocity joints and if analyzed the center part of the prop turns in a series of jerks which are canceled out at each UJ but only if they are parallel, Rick

easy job to remove the front prop, that will at least eliminate one area, although you say it comes from the rear, but only 8 bolts, Rick

hi havent changed the LS oil but made shure it is toped up..paul

Probably not your problem but it needs changing every 40k miles and since that first change is usually outside warranty (so servicing has moved away from main dealer) it always gets overlooked and it can be the source of some strange behaviour with the back axle.

hi all had the front prop of this morning the ujs have a bit of wear so am going to replace them..keep fingers crossed..paul
