When you changed axles, did you also change the Diff. oil ? use 3 litres of Limited Slip Differential oil. Is the new axle sitting "square" and in correct place ? Is the tracking correct ? There are many possible reasons ... was the exchange axle off a scrapper and if so, was it any good ?? All you can do really is look at all possibilities and eliminate them one by one.
I know that isn't much help to you, but there are so many possibilities.

when you removed the propshaft did you mark it and refit it in the same position??, try unbolting prop and turn it 180 deg and refit. :thumbs

Could it be the universal joint in the propshaft, thats the same problem I had and £12 I had it fixed

What was the reason for replacing the old one ?
If a new one did you put new UJ s on ?

As the others have said .If you didn't have this problem before it's either a dodgy U/J or the shaft is out of balance .
