Aha sounds cool! I'm running neat veg but I'm too scared to run used veg oil

The best bet is to shop around for the best price on SVO and just tip in ! Once you know your MAF and Fuel pump of course.

Found WVO very messy and time consuming but that's just me...I only used the WVO because I'm a tight northerner !

bigbunny, thin oil with rug as its thins the oil twice as much than derv.
i have been caravanning last week in norfolk and on starting it up it was a little sluggish on pull away on my mix of 25/75 wvo so popped a tenner of rug in and solved the problem.tank was 3/4 full.

To ask what is probably a silly question, what is RUG?

sent from my phone, sorry for any typo's.

You would not believe my run of events but here goes!! started running the veg mixed with petrol, only 10 litres but seemed fine. Then I added 40 litres veg and it started to struggle so I added more diesel but it did nothing so I put clear fuel pipes on and I had air in the fuel  with it been thicker it had pulled air in the fuel line from the tank so I fitted a new line. Still had air but only in the pipe coming out the fuel filter!! So I fitted a Landover Bosch filter head and after a bit of messing had it air tight and sorted. £2 filters from now;) in the middle of all this I fitted new heater plugs as I had one duff and thought id do them all seen as I was running the veg and did not want starting issues. Well I got a new set from flea bay and fitted them. It fired up great, but then just got worse an worse but I thought it was the veggie or air in the system. After checking over everything id done I went back to the plugs and took them out to find they had all burnt out :eek: Fake Lucas plugs from eBay!!! New plugs fitted again from the motor factors and is spot on now. I'll be getting some more veg now I have it sorted :clap:clap

Boom, veg oil is the way.

I had some running issues that I thought was down to the veg but ive had colder says and shorter journeys and it hasn't done it in ages so who knows :thumbs

I think my battery or glow plugs could be due for a change soon
