there is lots about this topic, i'm atm running 100% PVO i have installed a pre-heater but tbh you don't need to do this yourself, before i had the pre-heater i was 100% PVO but found it hard to start first thing in the morning, i would do a 80/20 mix this done the trick.

I have tried running on 50-50 mix but find that I get a very harsh rattle from the pump? is this normal or should I refrain from running on it????

I found that the engine also does not idle so well when running with sunflower oil, yet as soon as I return to pure diesel it settles down again???
