anyone got any ideas how i can stop the little sxxts from taking off my caps and letting the tyres down stoppin short of wireing the truck to the mains which im thinking of:eek::confused: doing

I like the 240v idea better ;) what about filling the tyres with that slime stuff - squirt the little beggars with bright green goo !!

Pliers is your only sensible option though.

There used to be caps that secured with a small Allen headed grub screw, but the PITA with them was that they'd corrode onto the valve. I had some and used to used a small ring spanner to remove them once the Allen screw had been loosened.

thanks guys like the idea of the anti theft ones will look around for them :clap

Get some elsan blue fluid, which doesn't affect rubber or so they say, put a few drops of the fluid in the recess under the cap, put the cap back on.
The valve will have to be at the bottom of the wheel.

Also remember about it when you check your tyre pressures.....:doh:doh

When they press in the valve they will be covered in blue and as you know, this is difficult to get off your hands.:augie

Or try food colouring, or ink jet ink, you could have a different colour per wheel......:naughty

fez beat me again, or cat shit cos that is nasty.

like the caravan toilet fluid idea, agree it goes everywhere
n sticks when resetting the caravan's cassette toilet.
aka shite box.
