I'm surprised as to how quiet it is here, on the Peak District board.
I've been playing with Wayfinder & Trailwise, even within a 3km circle of my front door I have a lot of lanes to try :D
Since getting the TII I have tried a couple... ('Just nipping out for a paper/pint of milk & to fill up dear' - apart from the extra mud, she's barely even noticed!) :)
Irritating problems have swallowed/are swallowing my 'better tyre' budget :( Can't wait to explore a bit more. I'll have the old bus sorted in a week or two (still be on road tyres though). Anyone want to show me around my own doorstep? Or join me in my exploration? Nothing hardcore yet.. easy lanes only for the time being....

i was thinking of doing a route around the peaks in the near future.last time i did one it was a joint venture with mudclub and we had 13 trucks turn up.
covered around 50 miles of lanes on that one.
you will cope no problems in a standard truck with the routes that i do.

There's some lovely lanes around your area, I've had some great times around there. May be later in the year when my truck is fit we could arrange another day out:thumb2

well, if you'll have me, i'd love to join you, of course when i get mine fixed! Its a short trek for me down there, but worth it. I need to test my cheap 50/50 kingpins out. They were superb in the snow, and great on the rough tracks round the back, but i havent even taken it on a muddy lane, let alone a green one :(

Looking to go out tomorro i Yorkshire if you fancy the short trip north, Doncaster or York area - not decided yet depends whose coming, see yorkshire section.

Would love to but have a couple of issues to sort on the car before I can :(
Next time? :)
