im pretty sure that part is bolt on, ask Rick, he is breaking a few right now.

no it is welded, but as Fez says should be straightenable, I have a good bonnet (blue) and most headlamp parts and shrouds, Rick

As you suspect someone for the incident, contact plod again and request their company for when you go for a word with him. Tell them you need them to keep the piece :bobby:

My mate had his motor hit rear off side did quite a bit of damage to steel bumper/wing/rear light cluster, but on the ground was bits of the other guys front lights with some numbers molded into the glass a bit of searching revealed the make of car and he had the color as some of his paint was left on my mates motor, my mate thought it was a local car as seen one like it fairly regularly so he had a drive round one evening and found it, including damage, reported to the police and they took over suffice to say mate got his motor sorted on the other guys insurance, do not know if he was prosecuted or not, Rick

I agree, something should be done for sure.

Check all the obvious, take lots of pics before it rains, and check the "suspects" car too :thumb2

Quick turnaround!! even some filler on the wing

Well done rick top job.

yeah i managed to pull most of the dent out, then used liquid metal, but it wont get painted any time soon with weather situation.

Well done... Now all you need are Alex's bumpers to stop it happening again.:lol

i take it that your radiator and fan survived ok, i had a bump last week and pushed the radiator back, looked ok, so i thought, until i noticed a drip underneath, turned out that it had pushed the rad back so the bottom hose was catching on the belt that is just behind it, luckily by the time i noticed it, it was only a pin prick of a hole, so managed to repair it with some rad hose repair tape from halfrauds, and pulled hose back away from belts .

might be worth checking, luckily i noticed it when i did as i was just going out laning, and would have ended up stuck out on the salisbury plains!
