Hiya Folks, anybody know were I might be able to get some upper bump stops, the ones that fit below the upper control arm at the front end. The guys in the parts shop just looked at me and said they did know what I was talking about. After a few choice words I left them to it lol.

It'll be a dealer only part I'd have thought - cut them off my old one to get more flex, not done it to this one yet but I probably will sometime. Try a different dealer, not easy over there I know but even if you have to have tem posted or they can get you a part number for the other one to order.

Does anyone know how they are held in place:confused: just i'm over due a trip to the brakers & if there are any left on the earlier Mavs in there I could take them off A post them across to you Bluebull:D

Hiya Sweety, Hows things buddy, I think they are held in with a small nut on the other side of them, but you may need to remove the upper ball joint and lift the control arm upwards to get access to them, but if you could get one for me that would be great and I would certainly reimburse you for your trouble, Thanks again mate, Paul

They're push fit, with a small mushroom type affair that has to be forced through a small hole - I couldn't get them off my old one i just cut the rubber to seperate the bumpstop from the mushroom (which then fell out).

Hiya extreme, I found these extensions on ebay, they were originally for a suzuki but they fitted no probs. They are of a flexible plastic and I screwed them to my original plastic guards. The guy was selling loads of them, I will see if I can find him again. ps I only ever saw them in black, but you might be able to paint them.

i bet teranosorus simon could sorce some cheep in colours he's into the rally scene, and that plastics place was up his way.... another little project and money spinner for simon

Look what I found lol heres the number 270327265931 type that in to ebay, thats the wheel arch extensions I used and the same guy, He was good at sending them out quick, good luck
