Said goodbye to my 2001 2.7 5dr today, off to pastures new.

Oh well, just have to play with my new 2005 3.0 5dr instead.

The Lord giveth, the Lord taketh away!

Michael.

Did someone say pics,if not i will.PICS...

Pics...?

I know what you perverts are going to do with pics ! (and a box of tissues!)

Feast your eyes....

Someone wanted pics ! I have attached one, hope you can see it.

05 plate, 52,000 miles, full service history, 2 owners, very tidy leather interior, new MOT, £4,800.

Gonna need four new boots for winter. I'm thinking either Toyo Open Country or General Grabber. I don't do much off roading, a bit in the shooting season, but where we live if it snows or is icy we need all the help we can get. Would like thoughts on tyre choice.

Just replaced the towing electrics socket, going to have a full service in a week or two and I'm going to replace the rear diff oil as a matter of course.

That's not a 3.0l mate!!!! :nenau

But smart car bud, slightly overpriced mine compared to what I paid for mine :naughty

Angle of the pic would indicate a 2.7 Tdi. (Scoop in the centre of the bonnet). .

Oh yes it is....

'Tis a 3.0, not a great picture, scoop is on RHS of bonnet.

Yeh definitely a 3.0, you can see the scoop is to the right of the raised part of the bonnet :thumb2

Very nice looking T2 :thumb2 I fitted cooper AT3's on mine (got the 17" rims) & they are great better grip on road than the road tyres they replaced & they just don't seem to wear down as only worn them down by 1mm in the last 18months

17"

It's got 17" rims, I reckon I'll probably go for the Toyo or the Grabbers depending on who's got the best deal at the time.

Nice motor, I have had 2 sets of Hancook ATM`s fitted (first set on a Disco), and they are a really good general purpose tyre, that seems to wear well,, and are effective off road (well at least in the forest where I go)
