hello has any one undersealed the underneath of their trucck? I've got a lwb as was just wondering if a gallon will do it all or will I need two gallons?

I used the hammerite stuff from halfords, bought 2.5 litres and still got about half left.

yep hammerite and waxoyl for the bits you cant get at..
43 quid for 2.5 and theres enough left to do another truck

ahh lovely, I brought a gallon of the carplan stuff of evibay with a spray aplcater for £36 with abit of luck I'll have enough left to do the old mans vw transporter for him

thats the clear stuff I brought the black but can't seen to find it anywhere

I use waxoil with about 15% clean engine oil and 15% white spirit and get it hot and spray it with a lance inside the chassis.with the engine oil and white spirit it seems to creep into the seems and last longer.i sprayed this mix on the underside of aluminum land rover wings the vehicle was used on a beach with lots of salt water splashing around,2years latter no corrosion under wings .
