Anyone know where I can get some underbody protection as in a diff guard and transfer box guard.

Unnecessary mate , run mine naked and never had a problem :sly Infact the only damage I've ever managed underneath was when I parked the old girl on it's prop shaft  Even then I got home ok :clap

Ive got the std diff guard it is rusty and would require wire brushing and repaint.I think ive also got the rear guard problem is its very big to post and not very good being fiberglass or plastic better to make one out of nice sheet of ali

true enough piece of tin to protect solid steel diff:doh

Hi paul, i have to say i was considering fabricating some underbody protection...a skid guard, from the front back to the gearbox...what thickness steel should i use, any suggestions anyone?

It's still pointless :doh However if you must then 6mm minimum or it wont take the treatment.
Now then a problem for you, if you get stuck in some mud you'll have massive suction on the bottom and need some serious winch power to shift it

yeah, i hit a rock with mine and basically came to a stop:augie no damage at all to the the diff:D they will survive the apocalypse easy:lol

yep no need for a diff protector unless you lift truck so high for people to see under it and need one to pose with, hmmmm i better get one :lol :lol

Ok will scrap that idea then, unfortunately my brain works overtime some times and think of all sorts of mods,hi Steve are you going to next pay n play at tong my lift will be done this weekend and hopefully will have snorkel done too

yes paul i would think so....you will have to follow us around next time...i had a great time and was very impressed with my truck

Will do mate and do was I with mine will get some better tyres eventually.uou will have seen that nice clean lime green sj well near the end of thee day he decided it might look better on its side the young guy wasn't impressed with the dents lol

My diff spends most of its time breaking rocks or leaving big score marks on them and its been fine. I think you only need a diff guard if you own a LANDROVER....:lol

Fitting a guard can also rob vital inches from your ground clearance. I find I pay much more attention to picking a good line with only the standard underbody protection.
