My 2004 2.7tdi T2 is lacking a bit of grunt it drives ok but when you come to hill it doesn't seem to have enough of poke, fuel consumption is down as well but on motorway not to bad. if feels like your driving with the hand brake on but i know that's not the case cause ive had all wheels spinning freely when up on the ramps. the second thing i notice that the accelerator feels bit hard on occasions, so is it the maff or something else .

hmm...if you have one, check/clean/blank the egr. Check fuel filter. definately check MAF.

thats for starters....! :thumbs

maf
Then cps

Nah, get the fault codes checked with a proper Nissan consult fault reader, Nissan will charge u £30 to do a full diagnostic check

I started just replacing stuff willie nilly and it cost me £100s in the end before I fixed the correct thing

Saying that its probably ur maf if you do fancy taking a flyer :D

I presume you have changed the fuel and air filters recently. If so Stinka is right check the codes first. Only half hour job with a paper clip. David

yes all filters have been changed full service by my self, i am very fussy when it comes to service . if there was a banjo filter there i defiantly gone there first i know this model ain't got one.

I note you have " Spare" trucks , why not swop out to find the duff item. David.

The spare trucks are the older models , I notice on ebay that there are reconditioned Maff sensors available. Would you recommend them ?
