My front tyres are both wearing on the inside edge, is this just that the tracking is out, or could it point to some wear in the front joints ...any ideas:nenau

I don't know mate but both my tyres have inside wear and the mot advisory said lower suspension ball joints need doing

before any adjustments are made you must check all the other moving points for wear, but inside wear is a sign of too much toe out, this could be due to hitting something but more likely wear in a track ball joint, Rick

If your bottom balls have worn this in my opinion would allow the bottom of the hub assembly to drift out which would cause toe in, your wear is due to toe out, I could be wrong but same applies as previous post, I am sur makeitfit will comment if I am wrong, Rick

As above really, but, there are so many other moving joints etc on the IFS
Also wheel bearings.
Check the lot as they're cheaper than tyres :thumb2
I assume you're ride ht is correct, like no sag on torsion bars.
Fixed front hubs on yours too I think so a little wear will probably be accentuated .

Hi,
there are that many joints between steering box and wheel, six i think,i always have mine tracked every year, and since fitting BF Goodrich A/T on, i don't have the tyre edge wear.
