About to take my T2 in for a service and MOT (not techy enough myself). The passenger side front tyre has worn unevenly, wearing a lot more on the outside. Pressure and tracking have been checked and are fine. It also does pull slightly to that side when driving. Also if I turn to the right on full lock there's something clanking as if something is catching on that side.

I'm pretty sure it will need a new shock on that side (other side was done at last MOT). What else should I be asking them to check. It's pretty corroded underneath so hoping something expensive hasn't gone!

Always change shocks in pairs :doh
Steering can be worn in so many places but probably steering relay ends or steering idler. It could also be that the torsion bars aren't set right. Does the truck sit level side to side etc?
Also worth checking wheel bearing, But that usually wears the inside.
The clunking is probably your steering stops, get down there with a finger full of grease, job done , simples ;)
