Hi all, I have standard 235 75 15 maverick rims, does anyone know what size tyrers i could go up to on these rims, many thanks, Jim.

Ya can go upto 30x950R15 with no mods

31x10.50 or 11.50 R15 with minor trimming to the front arch only

32x11.50R15 as above

33x10.50 or 12.50 R15 with major trimming to the front arch's & may get rubbing on the inner rear

35x12.50R15 with major cutting to front & rear

Once ya over 30" to avoid trimming / cutting you can body lift but the higher you go the more mods to pipe work etc

what i'm really after is a 2" spring/bar lift and i want wide tyres out to the arches.

Hi,

I put a set of four 31x10.5x15 General grabber at2 on my 1997 LWB Terrano in mid December 2009.
Had to trim a small bit off the mud flaps on the front only as they rubbed slightly on lock.
I also wound the front torsion bars up to achieve the desired stance, I had to remove a shim from the inside of the front top wishbone on both sides to bring the camber back.
Certainly improved the on and off road capabilitys, much smoother ride now.
I would highly recommend these.

Here are some pics of the tyres fitted.
