tyre sizes.. (again)

Hi chaps,

Sorry if this has been posted many times (I would think it has) but would a 2 inch lift allow for tyre sizes around 31 inch.? My suspension is old and tired so at some point I will be replacing it. It would be nice to add a small lift and go for some A/T tyres. Don't want to go silly with body lifts etc. Hopefully next year I can start fitting it out as an overland vehicle which is another reason for keeping it with a minor lift rather then something more.

My wheels are 17inch so will have to work out what is available for tyres that will give a 31-ish size.

Maybe a 31 AT tyre, Mine in mud type pattern rubbed quite a bit with a 2" body lift.

When I had my Maverick I did a 2" rear spring lift, leveled the front end off by adjusting the torsion bars, removed the front mudflaps and I got a set of 31 10.50 15's on, no problems with catching etc :thumb2
