tyre size for MT?

I can get a 2nd pair of 15 inch steel wheels for next to no money; same size as my current 235/75 R15 wheels.

Now I'm thinking, what is the largest size MT tyre I can fit on them, without (major) bodywork modifications / suspension raising? And which brand would you mud people advise me?

Have to keep current set of wheels as well, unfortunately, to be able to pass Belgian MOT: for administrative reasons related to having imported the car, I need to go to MOT on tyres with load/speed index 105S or higher...

I have fitted on a standard Terrano 235/85/16. They rub only on full lock a little bit, but how long do you drive with full lock on? You will be ok up to that size.

That may be the case above but if catching on full lock they will do so flexing as well.

Brands I have to say a bit bog standard but the bf Goodrich can't really be beaten unless your gonna get a set of swampers :sly
