Right ive just put some colwy mud and snow 31 10.5 r15 tyres, ive took it out for a test run and when you get to about 20mph it sounds like a something is rubbing but i can not see anything which would come close to the tyre and i dont see any rub marks on the tyres. is this norml niose or have i missed something?

i was hoping to use them in the peaks tomorrow but dont want to risk driving them on motorway if they are rubbing in case they burst.

mud tyres will make a lot more road noise , but if you are concerned take a peek around the wing etc to see if owts rubbing on the inside of the tyre .... or take it to a garage to check :thumb2

u do usually get increased thread noise with the block pattern

but if u worried have a feel around back of tyre checking it not catching on springs or torsion bits and also try full lock both ways also if u can compress tyre on banking or up a ramp to check it dont catch anything

Deffo get more road noise with mud/snow tyres. Ive got cooper m/s tyres and they are alot noisier than a/t tyres
