Got some time today at last to get my twin fans on istead of the big whirlygig viscous jobbie
Scrap RS 2.8 donated its fans. Got some 3mm alu sheet and bent the ends to be the same size as the original plastic cowl. I cut the height to include the top bkts, so they will bolt back on the rad as was before. The RS fans have a neat pair of plastic clips at the top, so I used them to slide over the alu:thumbs
The fans fit a treat so I just marked round them and cut out plenty of room for the air to get through, and mud to get out:augie
I liberated the wifes washing airer tie down cleat to use for the bottom pegs:sly
So they'll just drop in the existing holes at the bottom of the rad:thumbs
Then I just drilled and bolted the assy together ready to fit the truck
Just need to get the viscous fan off tomorrow and wire the thing in
I've got a twin thermostat thing on the way so one fan comes on first at 88 degrees and then the second one comes in later but cant remember the temp for the second one:doh
Anyway, easy
