As title says I have a 2.7 td on a n plate not intercooled so can I turn the fu pump up and if so where and how please

Dunno how it's done, but I have a sneaking suspicion that mine might have been fiddled with in the past, she tends to smoke a bit which suggests overfuelling and for a bare old TD she's quite nippy when I have heavy boots on. Kishada is sure it's as quick as his TDi.

just done my mates on his terrano pulls like a ******* machine, quite awkward to do on terranos as you can not pull the fuel pin out with the diaphragm as it it hits the intake manifold, basically i just guessed it, turned it 90 degrees, screwed the star wheel down 1 and half turns, bolted that back together, also if you do this this you need to turn the turbo actuator up 3 turns, once thats done you can play with the smoke screw at the back of the pump near the injector pipes, youve usually got to knock the cap off, undo the locking nut, once uve done that you want the engine running then screw the screw in slowly and you will hear the tick over go up, dont go to far with this screw or you will make it black smoke heavily, if you want a better idea just put in turning landrover tdi pumps up in google this is what i did an there basically the same inside, ive done 3 now and they all pulled like ****.
