been fitting a boost gauge to my t2:D. just one or two things i need to do like putting a radio surround over to cover the gaps. i was just wondering what pipe has the high pressure air going through it so i can plumb the red pipe in thats running to the gauge:doh. ohh yeah, how the bloody hell do i get the oil pressure and volt meter working? theres only 4 wires coming out of it:confused: IMG_2854.JPG

hard to say which is for volts and oil pressure without a schematic. Also our vehicles might not have a oil pressure sensor the same as what those gauges came out of.

If you can take it apart and trace the lines the volt meter is probably as simple as just directly connected to the battery.

Yeah, I think your right. I'll take it apart and trace the circuits. If there's not a pressure sensor then I'll just not wire them in. Thay came from a old Volvo that my grandad was breaking. I can't remember the type of Volvo :doh

I found the boost pipe for the gauge. Just waiting for the pipe splitter to come:D
 
volt meter wired in. took oil presure gauge out and blanked it off

Not any real idea on the td version, but on my tdi there is an unused oil pressure sensor with a spade connection, towards the front of the engine below turbo level. This has been commented on here previously, maybe worth a look and try it, see what happens?
