Not specifically on a terrano but plenty have on turbo diesels. BUT why ?
It's not needed on a turbo diesel :nenau
Ah fair enough :lolJust wanted to hear the sound it made really

It is needed on a turbo diesel, as much as a petrol
A dump valve dumps the pressure when u lift off the throttle so stopping the turbo impeller stalling, keeping it spinning for quicker response/spool when u get back on the throttle.
IIRC, it messes up the maf readings on a Terrano tdi sending it in to limp mode

I was told they are pointless in a td t2, if not, I'm gettin one!
how and where would it be installed??
erm where is it then ?
It is pointless on a td27 tho
why?:nenau
No boost worthy of a dump valve and it confuses the ecu if tdi
Your td might be fine if you fit a decent bleed valve to gain boost and match fueling accordingly
But tbh we need torque and low down grunt and a boost valve isn't really typical of this
( I'd love one if I could make it work )
Oh and the maf only works below 2500 revs anyway.
