turbo boost gauge

has any one fitted one, how hard is it, is the readout useful or
a distraction in long run.

where did you fit it, where other gauges fitted at same time
in a combined mount.

gather possible to mount on a pillar as well as around dash.

suppose based on my current overheating issues a water temp
might be useful, maybe an oil pressure and or oil temp too.

seen hundreds on ebay, many with sensor or fitting kits, any
favourite or recommended makes or suppliers/dealers???

Put the boost gauge on only for fiddling with the turbo mods I'm doing. Dont watch it at all:augie
The other ones I put in were oil temp and pressure. Got them off fleabay and chose a guy who did a deal for a package of three

You can choose the 3 you want and the style that suits the truck. Pod mount , pillar mount or custom like mine:sly

they are neat, gonee to to some trouble there with mount and angling
them up and to right to view.

do you have a link to supplier?

Davemudd has some fitted on door pillar if i remember covering boost and turbo temp.looks quite neat.JD

Fitted boost, vacuum and volts guages to door pillar. Photo attached ( I hope )
They look a bit "in yer face" as seen on pic but they are really well out of line of sight for driving.

Only reason for installing them was; I like to see what's going on under the bonnet ------- oh ! ----and it looks a bit more like a cockpit now :augie

ease of fitting etc

I've fitted a mcnally dual boost and EGT gauge. You really need an EGT gauge on the 3.0ltr as it will prewarn you if your engine is about to turn into a grenade.
