Had a bit of bother on the Black Pearl getting the turbo to spool up.
Confused what was going on I took the intercooler off again to have a butchers.
Ah, bugger, I seem to have left off the waste gate actuator and the turbo to actuator pipe.:doh
Just as well I looked as I'd also not done the Boost Gauge connection on my modded inlet manifold.
So here's a little how to :D
My manifold is a bit modified but the same thing applies to stock ones.
First I/C off and stuffa rag in the hole to catch any swarf that may escape.

I'm using a brake bleed nipple as I have some kicking about :) I'll drill a hole to suite and tap accordingly.

Drilled and tapped.

Then I simply cut the end off my nipple  then I made a little spacer plate to allow for the lack of thread near the nut end

Seal the little devil in and tighten.

Then I used an old turbo actuator hose and connected the boost gauge pipe to it. Simples :clap

Then finally remove rag carefully. Sneak back in the house and borrow the hoover . Slurp out any missed swarf . Return hoover before her indoors finds out we can operate them lol

Great post! this is one that's going in the how to album for later:thumbs

I did similar, but used a 6mm banjo and banjo bolt to connect it to the Intercooler.
