Help please I need an electronic turbo boost controller, or do I ?
I've been trying to get a remap on the old ecu but that's not practical at this age so I'm going for more direct tunning methods. I've got my modified input impeller turbo and big fat exhaust from the downpipe back. I've removed the old throttle body stuff, blanked egr and binned the oil blow by oil pipe so it's not bunging up the i/c.
K and N filter and ram air intake.
I've got the Tunit box which can be turned up some more to get more fuel too.
So can I get some reasonable extra POWER from this bit of kit

It's got an extra 12v control too so I could use that to kick in the LPG injection at early boost for example:sly

Just explain how you got rid of the oil blowby pipe Pete....idiot terms will do so I can have a go

Simples :)
Take off the pipe that goes into the I/C intake pipe. That's after the MAF and before the i/c. Then find a suitable bolt or similar to block the resulting hole. I used some sikalex as a gasket/bond to seal it tidy:thumbs
The end of the pipe you've taken off needs to go into a container of some sort like a water bottle.
OR you can buy one of those oil catch tanks off ebay if you want shiny bits.
That way you'll still have a bit of "suck" to help evacuate the oil vapour from the
rocker cover, although it's not really needed.

Have you considered an exhaust gas temperature egt gague to see whats going on.

It saves your pistons from melting if you over fuel at high boost with not enough air in a diesel engine.

I gathered that but don't know what temp is critical :augie
Also is:rolleyes: there some sort of fuel air mix gauge to monitor what's going on?
