well today was really just a quick run about in the mountain to try the new mods out.
removed the front arb
arch extensions (still gets really dirty)
and grill stayed in place not painted yet

you will see on this one i still get one of the wheels of the ground even with no arb's on

its a good video to demonstrate what no arbs does off road

Must say I have to agree - if you don't specifically have permission then you are on very dodgy ground.

Also if as you say that area is generally "open to the public" (ie its not closed) then driving like that you are asking to get yourself done for dangerous driving - especially posting it on the internet.

Join GLASS or CRAG or similar. GLASS run Trailwise with the TRF, you can't get to see all the info as a non member but you can have a basic look for nothing.

Its not this club - its for the sake of the whole 4x4 community. Videos and photos like that get used by the anti's as ammunition against our lawful use of green lanes. They have been shown to totally misrepresent things in the past but handing them ammunition on a plate is jut asking for trouble.

Sorry if you feel people are digging at you but this is a matter that is very important to some people on here (and of course elsewhere).

fair comment, but it was a do nut on some private waste land miles from anyone. it was not chasing sheep or in a public park or on an estate.
its known locally as the place to play the bits they dont want you near is well closed off. the police and the land owner dont enforce it there as it keeps it off the streets etc.... remember its wales a bloody poor part of wales and we dont have the crime like other areas for this reason

the kids that use it learn to be responsible or they will be stuck up there they still have to get home

we have little car thefts compared to other areas because there is this policy

I know where it is - used to get down that area fairly regularly, complete with a great big video camera etc -in fact thats why I bought my first Maverick.

Problem is anti's don't care where it is they'd use it as evidence of going off piste and irresponsible driving etc - even without the lanowner complainging that video alone could get you a section 59 notice if someone were to pass it on to the police. (have you removed it from photobucket as well as the posts? with that in mind?)

yes its gone. and i do see your point and i will be more carefull with the vids in the future... but its just fun.... shame they can miss interpret it all...

the thing i dis like about the whole subject is the follow the leader type of stuff (like a line of sheep) in those situations the only one using there off road skills is the one in front all the others just follow. its really boring .thats why i need to let it out sometimes. i bet im not alone and you prob do it too

i only really enjoy the 2 trucks situation taking turns in front covering each others asses etc... proper exploring


but if anyone wants to show me more tracks ill go with them anytime
