yep about right, reverse is not "syncro'd" it is just a dog gear, and often hits head on, so need to spin it to get it into a better position, Rick

You been selecting reverse with the clutch up that could end very nasty:augie found blipping the throttle also helps a bit

Lol nonono, I meant sometimes it wont engage, I have to lift n repress then it engages, but you seem to think 2nd first will help line up the teeth? :nenau

Yes it helps line up the shafts found it the easiest way to get reverse gear
