getting a click, reckon is from wheel but only forwards.

tbh on hol noticed it and thought that if braked it seemed to clear
as pressure taking something loose up, like a loose pad would but
now seems there even braking.

any??

Sounds like free wheeling hub then. - I'm assuming it has them.

It will be the opposite side locked on. Probably needs new rings but you might get away with a srip and clean.

To test if it is. When its doing it engage 4wd when moving in a straightline then knock it back into 2wd - should stop the ticking noise until you next reverse up.

ta will try/look.

funny mrs thought was rear wheel tonight standing nxt but yep could
be hub click.

the trol has auto and manual locking positions uses wheel brace.

looks like ned to break trolley jack out then thanks.

Richard, it could be the rear, remember the Troll has discs & Pads. Also check for play in the wheel bearing.

:)

well had trolley under and each side rear jacked up.

its the near side rear, feels bit stiff, maybe not as much as
off side and metallic grating so guessing disc/pad area.

no time to delve further but as was serviced by garage
6 weeks ago will let them have it back.

atleast able to further test diff lock works as does 4wd
gently pulling car against lifted wheel.

Rich, did you get to the bottom of it?

;)

yep, sorry havent posted thanks for reminder.

had it with local garage. seems was pads wearing down.

whilst good third of it left, the wear had allowed a pin to move
creating an audible alarm. just in same way some cars have
electrical circuits that trigger.

seems no actual prob other than wear so let them put new
rear pads on, 63 quid all in.
