Tracking

Anybody else on here have trouble with tracking ? Whenever I take it in to be tracked its a nightmare. Laser machine says its ok but when driving on the road that says another thing.
Pulling to the N/S checked again with laser blinkin things out again, takes over an hour to keep tweeking it. A lot better but still not quite right still pulls to the N/S a bit. Have always had this problem since I had the truck 4 years ago. Just cant seem to find anyone who can track it and get it right.

go to a place that fits commercial tyres , the " hole in the middle " is a bit big for some garages to properly fit their " thingie " on

Swap your back wheels to the front and see if that helps.
My Terrano used to pull to the left a bit until I swapped wheels around and it drove straight.
I have fitted a new set of tyres now and there is no pull at all again.

It could be down to how the vehicles tyres wear especially when cornering.

are you getting mixed up with balancing ?

It's more to do with the rubbish steering mechanism design. I mean 6, count them, 6 bloody ball joints So if each one has half a millimetre slop in it, thats 3mm the N/S wheel is adrift:doh track it and sure it'll line up on the laser quest gizmo, but the only real cure is to bin the balls and fit a man size steering idler too
Oh and as said above, if you retrack on existing tyres, there's still a tendancy for that worn tyre to track off on it's own. So move the fronts to the back:thumbs

just what i said in another thread, design issue, natural slack in system, and pull to left
generally caused by typical subtle camber of roads.

as long as its not pulling wheel out of your hands fear have to put up with it, or
drive on right for a change! lol
