Im having great difficulty getting touch up paint to match 3W7.
Apparently Nissan dont do it as a touch up.
Has anyone else found either a supply or substitute?

there are loads of sellers doing custom mixed touch up kits on ebay, i have bought a few and been very happy with them :thumb2

But how do I get the colour right if no-one knows anything about it.
Theres lots of numbers and names for these colours.
I need to know what the alternatives are then to '3W7'.

I was joking about buying red nailvarnish. Thats how desp I am.
I tried to get through to 'the place ' on ebay, but get an automated reply which is no use saying they are very busy.!!! Whats that about?

Im getting slowly more distressed that no one can help me.

there will be a paint code on the plate with all the info on it under the bonnet a paint supplier will know what the relevant number from that plate is :thumb2

thanks for the link. I already have a manual and have got the numbers required. Nissan say they dont do it as touch up paint.
Will have to try some of these paint suppliers who say they can match it up.

I have two Patrols and have had perfect results on touch up paint etc from a company called GMF (Motor Factors) Parkend, Gloucestershire. They need the info off of your Vin plate and they mix to order.
I live 5 miles from them - any problems let me know and I will go and see them - if you telephone their Coleford branch on 01594 832092 they will give you the paint dept contact
cheers

If you have a local halfords they will go out to your car, take the colour code and mix up iether an touch up pot(which is very generous, or a spray can (not so generous) Have used them a couple of times and though expensive(ish) the match was very good.

I have bought touch up kits from ebay before there are loads of people mixing paint to order on there. have a search and ask a few for advice :thumb2
