ok did mine again today, will explain how i did it
you lift the front of the truck up to just before the wheels leave the ground.
undo the 2 19mm locking nuts located at the top of the torsion bar adjuster, undo fully and remove the adjuster pin
now you want to mark the position of the torsion bar where it enters the splines at the front of the truck. i used tip-ex but permanent marker is best
now remove the circlip from the centre cross member , i tapped mine out with 2 flat screwdrivers and a hammer
now jack up the wheel this will move the adjuster around to look like this
now tap the adjuster from front to back (of truck) this will release the torsion bar from the splines at the front.
you need to move this 3-4 splines (no more or you wont get it back together)
so it will look like this now
now relesae the jack from the front wheel . this will return the adjuster to a possition that you can put the adjuster pin back in.
put this in loose for now and re fit the circlip. and re set the torsion bar settings...
i measured off the wheel arches i have 900 mm on the front and 915 on the back... using terras lift springs of course
