Tom's Farm Wales Anyone?

Anyone on here been to Tom's Farm in Wales? I had thought about going but was told it's been closed down. I have just been on a Facebook group and it is still open apparently. I have never been I always went to the Flappits in Bradford until that got shut down last year. Just wondering if anyone has been can let me know what it's like etc? Or even better maybe set up a meet there 1 weekend?

pretty sure its closed down ..... plus if it is open the coppers round there will be very hot..... cos they are sick of barely legal trucks up there

I had heard that it reopened, probably unofficially.....but the fact was that by all accounts you pretty much took your life in your hands when you went up there - no H&S whatsoever, so every looney feckwit in christendom turned up with obvious results.....you only have to trawl YouTube for some examples of what went on...

Come down to one of TeamWales offroad days.....the likes of Strata Florida will be a lot more fun I promise.....

Like i said I have never been just heard it was meant to be a good day out. Would be interested in coming to one of the team wales events if you let me know when it will be on. Got a few mods to make to the T2 before its ready anyway, tyres / lift / snorkel etc.

Well a day out with the lads would be a useful guide to what your truck can do without any mods.....you'd be surprised! Plus you can get to see what stuff they've already done and the tyres they are using.....

Toms Farm would be fun but like I said, it used to be really dangerous, which is what shut him down...the H&S police.

I think the two guys who ended up in hospital or the incidents which led to their injuries played a great part.......

severe injuries, DOE investigation, court action and of course, illegal vehicles all played a part...........

Best stay away I think!

Still trying to avoid the body lift, but it is looking more likely.

So true , I run mine standard apart from mud tyres and the front lifted on the torsion bars and it can handle some serious $hit.

Don't worry about cutting the front bumper , it will sort itself out ;O)

Mads 4x4 play days on the 19/09/10 at Briercliffe if anybody else is interested.
It will be my first dirty day for nearly 30 years (scary).
An unmodified terrano is going to get tested just to see what mods are needed(already know my tyres are u/s but should be an interesting day out.
Any info required mads 4x4 has a facebook page with address , photo`s and links.
Hope to see /meet some of you there(looks like mainly landies and suzuki`s though )
