If you must have a spacer then at least make sure they're the steel billet hubcentric ones. Anything else will be a weak link. |Most are alloy and ramming a lot of extra torque through the system and off road shock loads etc could fracture the alloy ones. Alloys themselves can and do crack .It's all to do with what kind of off roading you're going to be doing. Green lane jollies no problem but start some wild times at PaynPlay and I'd defo go for a good offset steel .
Billet steel spacers will cost almost as much as good offset wheels.

Cheers makeitfit, it sounds like its not worth the hassle really, if they gave an increase in on or off road performance then I probably would get some, but it's an aesthetic thing really, not worth breaking owt for!

I like me green laning, I get a bit bored driving round p+p sites, so alloys will do me. Something I never thought of though, everyday is a school day :lol

Cheers, Mark :thumb2
