I can't stand the stuff, but i still need to cook a goon un -advice needed!

that was my first thought, but she wants me to 'cook' one - and i thought tins were cooking :nenau

i cant find it either lol,i thought it was from our resident chef dinky but no! maybe it was on fb? nutmeg debate an all that!

Rachaels organic rice pud. On offer at tescos is very home made. Get a few tubs , tip em in a pyrex dish, sprinkle a bit of nutmeg on and put it in the oven for a while.

Itll warm through lovely and get a skin on it just like the homemade :D:D:D

nip in to a local school ask the dinner lady she might give you a portion to bung in microwave or recipe
Laurie.

Get yourself a pressure cooker. Chuck in rice and lots of milk. Bring up to pressure, steam for a while & then take off heat & mix in sugar. It tastes exactly like Ambrosia out of a tin.

so surely, it would be cheaper to get tin of ambrosia? which is where the first comment took me - perhaps not bad advice after all :thumb2

yeah , but if she sees you actually making it , you may get a early night :naughty

Yeah, but I already have two pressure cookers. One at home & one in the caravan. Especially for the caravan - very useful.

Actually, come to think of it, the last time I had rice pudding (cannot remember when that was), I'm pretty sure it was Ambrosia. :lol
